Overview

I am an associate professor at Wuhan University now.

I obtained my Bachelor's degree from Computer Science Department, Wuhan University. I got my PhD degree in Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Feb. 2006, where I worked with my advisor Prof. Zhiwei Xu on distributed computing, especially the Grid resource management. I also interned at MSRA (Microsoft Research Asia) with Prof. Qian Zhang as my supervisor on delay tolerant networks in 2005. I was a postdoc researcher at Community Grids Lab, Indiana University, with Prof. Geoffrey Fox on Grid workflow management from 2006 to 2007.

Broadly, I am interested in all kinds of distributed computing systems. Currently, I am working on cloud computing and distributed file systems.

Personal

I lived in Tianjin, Chongqing and Wuhan, studied in Wuhan and Beijing, worked in Shenzhen, Beijing and Bloomington, IN, USA. Now I live and work in Wuhan with my beloved family and friends.

I enjoy playing badminton, swimming and traveling (business travelling is not included).
